3rd Annual February Dragon Run! feb 2010

i'm in regardless of whether i'm in or not, lol

i will send my portion of the money if i can't make it so it doesn't screw anyone. so monetarily i'm in. physically, unsure...

my biggest event that I put together at the dragon was 100 cars. everything since then is nothing.

Well, I am just a maybe at this point. Once we get a good idea of how much cabins are going to be I can be more definite. Going to buy a LSD for the car soon, tires are almost slicks, and the wife doesn't want me spending more money on top of that.

Cabin shouldnt be more than $30. I am aiming for $25 like last time with food covered, of course this depends on the sucess of our dinner on the 10th

Wife and kids during the week. Then come back Friday and drop off kids. Buy more booze and food and go back up.

Not too sure how that would work with the pricing, but we'll figure something out when I get a price on the Cabin.

As far as I know the Cabin's are NOT $500 a week like Joey suggested.

Also not sure how having the kids will effect the sleeping arrangements. I am not sure if we'd be able to give them their own room for the whole week. Since I will most likely not be there during the week I cannot enforce the sleeping arrangements.

All good lmk. A room with twin beds is fine, or two rooms. Whatever works.

i know i'd like them to. But i also dont want to charge kids for the trip. Im working in the cost where kids are pretty much free and if everyone else is paying 100+ they expect a bed, depending how many people come is what in insinuating. But i really want then to have a bed. We'll figure it out this week when i get final pricing, ive been playing phone tag with the iron horse.

If it gets me a discount, I'll bring an air mattress and sleep my drunk a** on the floor

Okay, we already have enough people to fill 2 cabins for the weekend at $25 per person on the weekend. That is not counting the "tentative" people or kids.

Rates will vary for the week stayers once i get a price. The price on the site for my cabin, Rocky Top, which is the biggest cabin, xis $1500. It'll take 15 people to make it $100 per person and i think we filled every bed and couch at 12 peoplr last time. There is room for an airmattress or two, but its up to whoever if they want to stay on the floor for a week at $100. Also doesnt figure in the kids.

I am going to try and work out a deal with the lodge to give us a discount.

I think the full week is messing this whole thing up.

We need to plan on doing the weekend like usual and let useless reply button or whoevers idea for the whole week deal with that cluster f**k

We will more than likely go up saturday morning, arrive about lunch time, do some runs, then chill out saturday night. They arent too strict on check out time so we also have all day sunday.

If the group goes up for the week aand you want to go up friday night we'll figure out a different price.

If a group doesnt go up for the week i am sure many people will want to go up Friday night and if enough go it will be $25/per/night

Our trip is scheduled for the 20th...

Just booked my cabin for the 20/21.

They cant come down on the prices or the week cabins because they are all privately owned and the owners set the price.

Joey's 2 bedroom cabin is $900 for the week. It can probably fit 6 people comfortably.

My 4 bedroom is $1500/ week. 10-12 people comfortably.

Not sure if yall still want to stay a week, they also have bunk houses that are pretty cheap if only a few want to do the week.

Im sure plenty of people want to go up Friday night and we can book a smaller cabin to accomodate. I will most likely go Friday as well.

They have a new 3 bedroom cabin next to mine i am waiting to get a price for, i'm sure it will e priced between my 4 bedroom-$250/ night, and the 2 bedrooms- $175/ night.
