what are the room arrangements? we won't be up till friday night, hoping we don't get shafted on a first come first serve policy

There is also a basement with a pool table in it. If need be we can bring an air mattress for down there.

I will want to leave out early Friday. At least by 12pm. I don't think check in is until late afternoon(4pm) but that hasn't stopped us before.

I will probably go to Costco Thursday evening of Friday morning to pick up some big stuff and save us some money.

Anyone in that area want to join me, feel free. Everyone else can chip in if they eat/drink the costco stuff.

FROM WEST ATLANTA - Take I-75 North to I-575 North, which will become Hwy 515 North. Just past the town of Blue Ridge, GA,
turn left at traffic light onto GA Hwy 60 toward Murphy, NC. Go approximately 3 miles, in the town of Mineral Bluff turn right onto Spur
60 and continue 15 miles until Hwy 60 dead ends into Hwy 19/74. Turn right onto US Hwy 19/74 East. You will pass through Murphy
and Andrews. Watch your speed!


Outside Andrews, US Hwy 19/74 will narrow to a two-lane highway and proceed into the Nantahala Gorge. The drive through the
Gorge is about 20 miles of winding road alongside the Nantahala River, so please drive safely. You will pass the Nantahala Outdoor
Center at the bottom of the Gorge, then the Nantahala Village as you leave the Gorge. As the highway opens up into 4 lanes, you will
be heading toward Bryson City. Watch for signs for Highway 28 South (there is a Texaco gas station on the corner). Follow directions
below entitled “From High 74 and Hwy 28South.
FROM EAST ATLANTA - Take I-85 North to I-985 (towards Gainesville, GA). North of Gainesville, I-985 turns into Hwy 441 North,
which travels to the town of Franklin, NC (follow the signs for 441 bypass, not 441 business). Stay on 441 to the towns of Dillsboro and
Sylva, NC, where 441 intersects with hwy 19/74. Take Hwy 19/74 West toward Bryson City, NC. Go about 20 miles, pass all 3 Bryson
City exits and watch for a turn for 28South. There is a Texaco gas station on the corner of 74W and 28S. Follow directions below
entitled “From Hwy 74W and Hwy 28 South”.




FROM Highway 74 and Highway 28 SOUTH
When you turn off of Highway 74 onto Highway 28 South, set your odometer to 0. You will drive 3.3 miles up this
scenic, winding road. Look for Old Brush Creek Road on the left. There is a sign with a trout that says “candy
services”, etc. – go left. The road forks….stay left. You will pass a red barn. Continue until you see our Lillie’s Cabin
(2 story log home with green tin roof) on the left. Go right on Deer Ridge Rd, and go up the mountain 8/10 of a mile.
You will pass Moonlight and continue up the mountain. You will pass the “Good Life Cabins” and keep going up.Once
you see a streetsign for Starlight, Deer Ridge makes a sharp right (DO NOT go left on Starlight). Continue up the road
until you see the Crow’s Nest sign - #835, on the left. It is a sharp left turn, so take it wide.
THE KEY IS IN A LOCKBOX MOUNTED BY THE DOOR ON THE COVERED DECK. THE LOCKBOX
COMBINATION IS THE LAST 4 DIGITS OF THE PHONE NUMBER (0612).

Dragon->cabin. Seems like we're getting further and further away... Ends up not being too bad though if you get a nice/cheap cabin and enjoy the 4touge company
