I'm not a fan of off-camber or blind rights. I can see where Erv is coming from on lefts, but with the entry line being on the inside shoulder of a right hander (I stay in my lane) it worries me a little more.

Yes the sun in eyes sucks. We has a bit of that yesterday on wolf pen. Pretty scary

oh matt my car did knock like a mofo yesterday.

i turned the boost down to 17 and it was still doin it.
what gives? i did find that my bov had a loose copper fitting fir the vacuum source but after i tighten it ig got better but was still doing it.

any ideas?

Have you been using a different gas station? Not sure why it would knock at 17 psi w/o logs ...

i filled up at shell before the run.

ive used that gas station like year ago...

its been knocking when i get on the torottle ever since the new IC. well actually i told you it kinda knocks when i get on the throttle sometimes before. it does it sometimes so its kinda hard to pinpoint when it will doit.

it seems like its doing this when the car gets colder air than normal.

i moved the battery to the back and didnt put the undertray so it might be getting a lot more cold air than before? i dunno.

it knocks when i get on the throttle not during when its boosting. around 2 to 13 psi. well i let off when it flashes.

Mine was stuttering in the higher speeds. I think its the cold air. I'm gonna swap the plugs for better

Joey, it may be a the cold air, but we should also rule out a boost leak since you've modified the system. Run a boost leak test and make sure that the IC pipes aren't leaking. This can cause the turbo to overwork itself and build excess heat and cause knock.

Otherwise, it could be the cold air as it does lower the knock threshold. However, the IC should have raised it back up a little. There is a chance that I didn't add enough margin for the larger airflow variance with the 280 cams.

Either way, it's unacceptable and I'm happy to fix the issue the next time we meet.

even when it was cold it was runnig 11.2 afr when WOT.

If you're running richer than it's likely a leak. Losing air equals richer AFR. We can do a leak test if you want to come over Friday. Party on Sat night too if you're up for it ... at EPM/No Limit.

I'm working Friday but will be off at 4:30 or so ...

if not... well i dont know if i can make it Sat... i think i should be able to but... you never know./

On my last runs I found myself being a little more competitive and pushing my limits. Also, I noticed I couldn't stick with one consistent style. Some corners I would brake too late, some too early, even though I've driven our roads so many times, I was always trying to new things in the heat of battle- Initial D style
