super fun, just made it back (did the 6.05hr trip in 5hrs). super tired, maybe next february i'll have a car worth driving, since i get carsick riding shotgun, lol

It was great seeing you all up there again, really glad the rain held out while I was there for the day. Everything went without a hitch except for the run back home, oops

what happened?

I got to meet a fine law enforcement officer on 129. Got a wreckless, so its going to be a painful fine.

Yah, I'm just hoping NOT to repeat the 7 unsafe for conditions this year. I've never claimed nolo in this state, so I think I may go to court to see if I can get some of the points taken off.

It'll work out man. JP and Minnoe got tickets up there and Minn's was dismissed and JP got it reduced to too fast for conditions

jeff i think it's time to go wingless and quieter exhaust.

i was low on gas when we were out last night. well by the time i got to the cabin it was really low. when i left the cabin this morning it said the range was 7miles. i pulled up the secret diagnostics menu and it shows the readings from the tank in liters. 2 when i left the cabin...Zero for the last 8 miles into robbinsville. no homo i almost kissed the car when i pulled into the shell station. i supposedly have 12 gallon tank. The fillup was 14.5 gallons.......

thought for sure it was gonna be karma for bragging about gas mileage all weekend lol


Anyway.. awesome trip, glad we have such quality/entertaining and simply great family coming out to these.

I'm glad ya'll had a blast! but I'm sort of grateful I didn't go, we're somewhat buried in snow up here right now.

David, there was a gas station about 3 miles from the cabin by making a left towards Bryson city instead of Robinsville. Glad you made it back alright though.

Wing or no wing doesn't seem to matter its a Blood Mtn issue. Lucid or anybody else that got hit PM me if you want to discuss it.

i took HWY 28 S down to franklin on the way home, highly recommend you guys take that road at some point. fairly smooth, LOTS OF curves, mediocre scenery.

i knew there was one closer and i went left on 28 because i knew i had seen pumps. was about 8 miles down and i realized they weren't selling gas, looked closed. had no idea where the other one was and figured i was halfway almost to rovvinsville

There's a strong consensus for a summer trip. Maybe a drivers only trip in a small cabin to do night runs.

That was pretty funny, David almost getting shot that is. I started making my way to the far side of my car in case I had to dodge bullets and an F-150. Dude was PISSED!! LOL!!!
