There is a HPDE event that weekend @ VIR. Obviously it's cheaper to go to Deal's Gap, but I'm trying to get as much track time as I can this year. But if money becomes too tight, then I'm heading to Deal's Gap (unless the weather is crappy, then we all SOL)

I proposed this to the wife, and I wasnt given a no... So we might be coming along, I will keep you updated.

Looking into cabins now and I'm going to need definite yes's ASAP. Also will need to figure out a payment and everyone will be required to pay up front to prevent coming up short like last time and people bailing last minute (myself included).

I'll crunch some numbers and come up with an average cost. Once one cabin is paid for and filled it'll be up to anyone not in that cabin to reserve their own cabin. The place we will be staying has smaller cabins stragglers can look into and book.

Okay, after some number crunching, we are going to go with $40/night per person. To avoid any confusion (and screwing the numbers up) we are going to accept payment from people staying both nights first. So $80/person. Whatever our numbers are at a determined date we will reserve a cabin that accommodates that quantity of attendees. For example, if we have 10 people we will get a 10 person cabin, if we get 12 we will get a 12 person cabin and so on. If we get anything less than 10 we can have a vote, either pay the difference for a really nice cabin, or get a smaller one and use the difference to pay for the food or alcohol. Either way. $40/night should cover it.

For people only planning on staying 1 night, if enough of you choose to, we'll do the same thing. If there isn't enough to justify buying another cabin, we'll sell floor space, if available, for the $40 and put it towards alcohol and food. This is only if there is enough room to fit enough people in comfortably.

Space is first come first serve so please send payment ASAP.

There's a huge conference in las vegas, and I just got an email confirming my badge registration (Keep in mind nobody really asked or mentioned to me what days it is). Which I knew would happen, but I didn't realize what day it actually was until about an hour ago.
